Nobody Believes In Aubrey Huff, But…

Evaluation

What do Lance Berkman, Mark Teixeira, Vladimir Guerrero, and Aubrey Huff have in common?

Answer after the break.

Some players, like Adam Dunn, Ryan Howard, and Mark Reynolds, tend to derive most of their value from hitting home runs. Others, like Miguel Tejada, Jhonny Peralta, and Curtis Granderson, notch up impressive run totals that disproportionately influences their value. Troy Glaus and Melvin Mora made a killing off of RBIs last year. And Cristian Guzman, Mark Aviles, and Joe Mauer earned their fantasy paycheck in the average category in 2008.

But if you look at the top 100 batters last year and filter the list for the most statistically-balanced guys — we’ll leave out steals for this one — who do you get?

Yup, that’s right. The four names that top this post. Meaning, it’s ok to take a puff of the Huff.
