Allegiance And Loyalty In The Age Of Fantasy

Baseball Action, Questions

From Fantasy Hurler:

“I still root for the Dodgers and Angels (I’m an O.C. transplant), but not like I once did. I root for me, and “me” in this case is an amalgation of a twenty-five man roster cherry picked from all of Major League Baseball.”

Let’s take an anonymous poll. Let’s say a starting pitcher on your most important fantasy team is facing off against your favorite real-life ball club. Where is your allegiance?

Who are you rooting for when the ace of your fantasy team pitches against your favorite MLB team?
