Hopefully a good suggestion for the future. While mock drafts are fun in the preseason as we get closer to the start of real drafts and in order to learn different strategies, as a tool to determine player’s relative values wouldn’t it be much more accurate to simply ask for experts player rankings. Particularly this early in the “pre-season” I imagine different people have widely divergent opinions on each player. Is Justin Upton really the 11th best pick next year? While this draft would suggest so, if everyone else only had him ranked in the 30s then this mock draft is simply deceiving.

Simply put I would love to see a ranked listing of 10 expert’s averages ranks this early in the season as that will give a much more accurate representation of player’s perceived value. Or am I missing the advantage of making it a draft?
