Here are some more blog posts and articles I’ve found interesting in the past week:
- Sweet, Baseball Prospectus’ PECOTA projections are out! Keith Olbermann writes the foreword.
- Crooked Pitch takes a look at the fastest moving risers in mock drafts among pitchers and hitters.
- Rumors serve as nice distractions. Wouldn’t take them too seriously, but it’s interesting to imagine Prince Fielder to the Red Sox and Jake Peavy to the Angels.
- Adrian Gonzalez vs. Justin Morneau? I’ll take the latter, but Roto Savants makes his case for Gonzo.
- What’s In A Value? The question that Aristotle forgot to ask, I suppose.
- A’s GM Billy Beane’s biggest mistake is reportedly “wowing” in the cage. Does Eric Chavez stand any chance of holding up this season?
- The Wall Street Journal has a fantasy baseball beat writer. Go figure. Though his latest article on the top fantasy sports sites looks a little mailed-in to my eyes. On the other hand, from the article, I discovered LeagueSafe, a service that lets commissioners secure league fees. Fantasy Hurler also learns of the website and gives it a short review.
